ABOUT PUNAT ENGLISH: Punat is a small town situated on the east coast of Puntarska draga (Punat Bay), on the south coast of the Island of Krk, 30 km from the Bridge of Krk and only 8 km from the Town of Krk. Punat is popular for its beautiful beaches situated in the immediate vicinity of the town or only accessible by boat. Punat has also its town beach within Puntarska draga, suitable for children and seniors, with improved access to the sea, shallow water and protective barriers for the bathers. As soon as you leave the bay, you will find gravelly beaches – a landmark of our island. The beaches are numerous and a bather will always find a spot, while the leisure time can be spent on sporting. ITALIANO: La città di Punat è ubicata nella parte sud dell'isola di Krk, a fronte di una delle baie più belle e più protette dell’Adriatico: Puntarska draga. La Punat dista circa 30 km dal ponte di Krk e circa 8 km in direzione sud dalla città di Krk. Punat vanta una spiaggia cittadina all’interno della baia Puntarska draga, particolarmente adatta ai bambini ed agli anziani, con facili accessi al mare, l’acqua bassa e recinzioni di protezione per i bagnanti. Uscendo dalla baia, alla periferia del centro abitato, incontriamo spiaggette ghiaiose che sono anche il segno distintivo. DEUTSCHE: Punat befindet sich im südlichen Teil der Insel Krk, inmitten einer der schönsten und geschütztesten Buchten der Adria, die sich „Puntarska draga“ nennt. Punat ist etwa 30 km von der Krker Brücke entfernt und ca. 8 km von der Stadt Krk. Die Ortschaften Punat und Stara Baška sind für ihre schönen naturlichen Strände bekannt, die sich in unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden oder mit dem Boot erreichbar sind. In der Bucht „Puntarska draga“ gibt es ein Stadtstrand, angemessen für jung und alt, mit Zugaengen zum flachen Wasser und mit Schutzbarrieren für Badende. Schon am Ende der Bucht bzw. am Ortsausgang treffen wir auf Kiesstrände, die für unsere Insel charakteristisch sind. Es gibt zahlreiche Strände, wo jeder Badeurlauber einen Platz finden kann. Seine Freizeit kann man mit dort angebotenen sportlichen Inhalten erfüllen (Wassersportarten, Beachvolleyball, Surfen, Ski-Lift, Fallschirm über dem Meer, Jet-Ski, Aquapark...).
